First test of a scatter system for Unity3D. The user can areas to be filled with either splines or meshes, holes are detected and selectively filled or not. The user can add any number of meshes to be included into the scatter and each mesh has params to define density, scale, rotations, collision etc. The system can be told to not overlap any meshes or set min distances between meshes. The meshes can be snapped to grids and angles say for scattering buildings. The resultant mesh produced is optimized to the minimum number of draw calls.
The crash barrier in the scene is another system being tested for easily lofting multiple meshes along a spline for such things as barriers, fences, walls etc.
