Petey, I missed these sooo bad, I may not always do exactly what you do but your tutorials have given me a great base for the game I am working on. Primarily the biggest difference is I am using a custom rigidbody controller, but I do love these videos so please keep them coming.

With the advent of the Developer Preview version of Unity 3d 3.5 going public, I have decided to update the tutorial series to the latest version of Unity. There are a few hitches that I have encountered, but nothing major.
The most annoying thing has been the fact that the items we have created are not using the materials that we originally made for them. Instead, Unity has made new ones for them in a spot that it thinks they should exist.

And getting the frogames bundle just blew away any chance of getting sw:tor.

Any chance you could start
Any chance you could start over and show how to get Unity running with the existing scripts. Specifically, GUITexture health bars, basic attacking against mobs (with no Frogames Protopack) and targeting? I just got the scripts and just looking back at targeting alone, it's vastly different. It's amazing to see that this has been going on for 2 years. Thanks again for making this!

what happened to the tutorials?
its been a few months since we've consistently had updates on the hack and slash tutorials. i think petey gave up on us. maybe, this ran its its course.
anyways, he provided the best and most thorough tutorials available on the web. i bought his scripts and recommend you do too. i didnt really need them, but i bought em anyway. a kind gesture for him bringing us along this far. guess, we'll have to move on...
there seems to be a few newcomers out there who seem to be trying to emulate him. something else will come up soon.

brilliant tutorial series - just bought the scripts as reference
I just got started on these tutorials a couple weeks ago (on lesson #60 now) ... I sure hope petey hasnt' given up on the project! It would be awesome to see this game reach completion - here's hopin' he's just taken a moment to sit back and relax before unleashing tons of new content!
There are still more planned. The holiday season can just get a little hectic at times. Plus to start the new year off, our household came down with the flu. Today is the first day that I am up and around since the new year started. I will not be doing to much though, just answering a few posts here and there.
I still have that Star Wars; The Old Republic Collectors Edition to get installed! Anyone try it yet?
